How do you reset the clocks flight time to zero?

1. Depress SELECT key until FT mode is displayed.
2. Depress and hold Control key until FT displays 99.59, then release the CONTROL key.

How do we check and set the DISPLAY Controllers?

Using an S pattern starting with the NAV Menu Key and ending with the TEST Menu Key.

Under the TEST Menu Key, what are we checking when selecting RAD ALT?

100 feet will be displayed on the ADI portion of the PFD.

How do you know if the PITCH TRIM and YAW DAMP are engaged?

The switch capsule lights are extinguished.

What does a RED X indicate on a minimum of 2 display tubes?

A Symbol Generator has failed.

How could we restore a set of display tubes that have a RED X?

Select the Symbol Generator providing power to the display to ALT

What does a Blank Screen (Display Tube) indicate?

The Display Tube has failed.

What will happen if the Pilot’s Flight Display goes blank or shows a RED X?

The information will automatically switch to the Pilot’s NAV Display due to Automatic Display Switching Feature on the GV.

What is the indication if the Message Portion of the CAS has a RED X Left Engine Instruments change to dashes?

The active Fault Warning Computer has failed.

How can the CAS display and Left Engine Instruments be restored?

1. Select Sensor Menu Key on Display Controller.
2. Select # 2 FWC
3. Select ENG DATA
4. Select # 1 FWC to # 1 DAU
